Chris Lane Wins 2012 Bassmaster Classic

The super bowl of bass fishing is officially in the books for 2012—and we have a new champion who claims his first ever Classic.

Chris Lane, of Guntersville, Alabama, bested a crowd of seasoned veterans, and the Red River with a total bag of 51 pounds, 6 ounces.

This total marked a full 3 pound advantage over the next closest competitor, Greg Vinson.

Lane also took home the big bass award with 6 pound, 10 ounce fish.

Congratulations to the new Champion, Chris Lane.

Stay tuned as we will dissect his victory later this week, including tactics, tackle, and other bits of information that will help you fish better!
