ICAST 2012: Kopper’s Live Target

As most of you are aware, Koppers has for the last two years taken home best of show honors in the soft bait category.

Well, I guess the third time is the charm as they take home the best of show this year in the hard bait category with their new Frog Popper.

Like all the Live Target baits, the paint job is very realistic, comes in two sizes, features a feathered treble and will be produced in five colors.

Koppers Live Target will expand their colors in the hollow body frog line to include more solid color while maintaining the molded in front arms and other body details.

There will be two new Tilapia baits. a lipless crank and a jointed wakebait. These plugs will be produced to mimic both the male and female of the species and as with all Live Target lures, the look like the real thing.

As if Tilapia weren’t enough, Live Target is introducing the Crappie Series. They will be available in lipless and shallow crank configurations, come in a couple different sizes and will have choice of finishes.

Live Target is introducing a two-segmented Yellow Perch Crankbait that will be available in a few sizes and offering different diving depths. This is a bait that is designed with the northern angler in mind as everything up there preys on these juvenile fish.

And finally, there will be two new models in the crawfish cranks. They will offer a Deep Diving and a Squarebill version with some interesting finishes that should allow the angler to mimic most of the craw colors commonly found on lakes.
