Lucky Craft has been a name for a while now and at this years ICAST they were once again prepared to make a splash. They debuted the Lucky Craft Twisted Rosie. This bait has a prop on the back, a body like a crankbait but is in reality a top-water plug. Designed to dive head first and then to float back to the surface, it offers some interesting possibilities.
Another new bait is the Lucky Craft Blade Cross Bait. This bait is like a jerk-bait with a spinning blade attached to and underneath the head of the bait. The Blade Cross is intended as a cold water bait and should excel in lakes that have blue-back herring and similar bait-fish as a primary food source.
The Gunfish will undergo some changes in terms of adopting a one knocker style noise chamber and will come in a 135 that will feature three hooks as opposed to the more traditional two treble arrangement. Lucky Craft will use some colors that are being re-released as well as current colors for these plugs.
The LV RTO will come in two new sizes including a small, 50 size as well as a 200 and feature some new colors. Like all of the Lucky Craft LV series, they have the tight wiggle and shimmy on the fall that this series is known for.
The new Flash Pointer is a jerk bait that has been added to their line. This lure features a three hook design that will sit slightly nose down in the water and have an exaggerated side to side action.
There are new colors being offered in several of the other series including the KJ (Kelley Jordan) top-water prop baits.
