ICAST 2012: Sebile

If you fish with Sebile products, then you already know the commitment they have to creating products that display an out of the box thinking.

They work very hard to bring innovative designs to market—designs that will catch fish and lots of them.

They are meant to be fished across different species and catch all kinds.

The products that debuted at ICAST 2012 were no different.

There are three products that we will take a closer look at today based on the product showcase. We will have all of these products on the water for proper testing soon.

Sebile Vibrato

Sebile VibratoThe Vibrato is an interesting spin on a jigging spoon.

Instead of only having one hook, and having the o-ring at one end of the bait, it is tied in the middle, and features one hook on each side.

The idea is to imitate more closely while jigging the flutter that is produced by a wounded bait fish. Since tying the bait in the middle allows more surface area of the bait to fight against the water, the flutter should be more erratic.

The finishes on this bait are also very nice and should do very well in clear water conditions.

Sebile Fast Cast

The idea with the fast cast is creating an aerodynamic bait that can be casted further than any other bait on the market.

Of course, there is more to fishing than just casting, and the bait touts a realistic swimming action as well.

This offering from Sebile is the biggest question mark for me personally, so testing will be rigorous.

Sebile A.T. Worm

The A.T. Worm is very interesting to me, but I can’t figure out if I like it or hate it.

The length of the worm is hollow. It has pre-determined holes for a variety of rigging options. It has a split tail, and it comes in floating and sinking options. The color selection is very good.

What I can’t decide on is whether the pre-determined holes are a good thing or a bad thing.

Rather than rush to judgement, I am just going to hold off until I get it out on the water.

Those were the three best of Sebile’s showcase this year. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section.
