Luck E Strike is introducing the Rick Clunn Square Bill Crankbaits this year in a new size, the size 4. This is the largest of the popular series which now comes in 4 sizes, 1,2,3, and the new 4, which is the largest of the bunch. Rick Clunn designed these baits from custom carved wood baits that he used back in the 70’s.
The difference is that now, they are of course hard plastic. Like the smaller versions, the series 4 is a silent, no rattles bait and has the same wobble as its smaller siblings. The colors will be uniform across the board offering anglers a bigger profile bait for that big bite.
Another collaborative effort between Rick Clunn and Luck E Strike is the new RC Stick. This is a jerkbait that is designed to be affordable to the everyday angler and provide a quality alternative to high priced lures. It will come in 8 colors and should be on shelves shortly.
Luck E Strike is introducing a new, old bait called the Warthog. This little crank is made for early spring and clear water environments. The colors are mostly translucent with the bait in its prime on light line. The scuttlebutt is that this bait has been a well kept secret in the Ozark’s for some time. Now the word, and the bait, are out. Look for them soon at your favorite tackle shop.
