Sebile is introducing a new bait called the D&S crankbait. This is a deep diving crank with an unusual hook configuration. Typically, cranks have two treble hooks dangling from the belly and butt of the bait. In the case of the D&S, there is a single, wide-gap worm style hook that is attached to the interior of the belly pointing upward but with the hook point in line with the butt of the bait.
When a fish strikes the crank, the hook rotates upward to penetrate the fishes mouth. This crank can be thrown where a normal bait would experience snags without the same concerns. Look for these in stores in the next few months.
Sebile is also introducing a new swimbait rig that is a weighted EWG with a treble hook on the bottom. It comes with some of the Sebile soft weights that can be added to the hook shank to facilitate fishing deeper, changing the angle the bait will run or just to make a longer cast. This rig will work with most soft plastic swimbaits and will be on the shelves shortly.
