ICAST 2011: Big Bite Baits

Big Bite Baits has produced some interesting baits over the last couple of years and this year already released the Warmouth— a bait designed by Dean Rojas for bedding that imitates baitfish feeding on their side.

There are a number of solid baits in their line-up and this year at ICAST they are introducing an 8” finesse worm called the Big Bite Bait 8” Finesse Worm. This worm fills the void between the 6” and 10” categories and was designed for those clear water situations that contain big fish.

Another new bait from Big Bite Baits is the Stick Tail. It resembles a senko style worm with a small appendage on the rear end. This is supposed to give this bait that little added action that will entice fish to strike. It will be available in several colors, and if the rest of the line-up is any indication, will also be value priced.

Big Bite Baits is also introducing the new Shaking Squirrel. This is a finesse bait designed for drop-shotting that takes very little effort to impart some good action to the bait. Made of super soft plastic it responds to every little twitch of the rod tip. These baits will come in multiple colors and feature the salt and Bite Juice of other baits in their line.

See ya’ on the water …
