Knoxville TN – It was again a Tennessean that held the lead on Day 2 of the 2019 Bassmaster Classic, but not the same one as yesterday.
Day 2, and the overall lead for the tournament, belonged to Jacob Wheeler on Saturday. Not only did he end the day 24 hours away from winning the biggest tournament in bass fishing, but he did it in a very strange way.

Houston, TX — There’s an insider saying that goes, “You can’t win the Classic on the first day, but you can lose it.”
Apparently, Jordan Lee never heard the expression before.

Here we are a few days away from the Bassmaster Classic 2016. It seems as though it was just a moment ago when we were watching Randy Howell hoist the trophy in Alabama followed by his press conference where he revealed his winning baits.
Then last year, Casey Ashley got to the top of the bass fishing world and like his predecessors, got to experience the incredible ride that is being the current Classic champion. He too sat in front of the press and held court on his victory.
The Classic is a life changing event for that angler who is fortunate enough to walk away with the trophy; there is no denying that.
We wanted to do one more article to cover a few more of the offerings that debuted at the Classic as we feel that these products may strike a cord with y’all as they did with us.

Birmingham, Ala- “It was the best day of fishing in my whole life,” a teary-eyed Randy Howell said as he weighed in a big day three bag.
According to the man himself, he cried the entire one and one half hour drive from Lake Guntersville back to Birmingham. Even for those of us covering the event, we new he was having a special day.
